Hi, I am Angie.
Growing up in the Midwest, the world felt impossibly big, and I wanted it all: from the Wonders of the World to the depths of the great Blue Hole. I believe what matters most is not what we have tangibly accumulated; it’s who we became from the moments that transformed us. Moments matter; they gift us with experiences that become OUR LEGACY, transcending generations, making us...

Like my Grandmother Iris who, as a single woman in the 1950s, embarked on a 4,200-mile roundtrip road trip to San Francisco, California in her Ford Fairlane convertible. She returned with colorful stories turned memories that lit her from within decades later as she recounted them. From her, I learned that moments matter.
And my Grandfather Stacy who brought back a man's bikini bottom from his trip to Acapulco, Mexico in the very early 80s. He donned that thing with more gusto than you can imagine. From him, I learned that the unpredictable can be create lasting memories.
And my Grandfather Jim who, the summer before I entered 9th grade, took me up in his little prop plane to see Alaskan glaciers from a new perspective. Though the weather conditions shortened our trip, from him, I learned that the journey is the destination.
And my Great Grandmother Maria Þorvaldsdottir who, in 1900 at the age of 2, embarked on the biggest trip of her life emigrating from Skagafjörður, Iceland to the American Midwest by way of steamship and train. With cat-eye glasses, an easy smile, and a fantastic accent, from her, I learned worldly experience is a very precious commodity.
